What Makes Camden Case Management Different

Camden Case Management is uniquely owned and operated by nationally recognized trauma therapist Michael Scheer, LMFT, and psychiatrist Jason Schiffman, MD, MBA. Their combined expertise and leadership bring a high level of clinical insight and operational excellence to our services, ensuring that every aspect of our service is grounded in the principles of professionalism and compassion.

At Camden Case Management, we provide a sophisticated model of support that sets us apart from other case management companies. We work with both adults and adolescents, tailoring our services to meet the distinct needs of each group. Our commitment to clinically-informed case management means we offer a comprehensive, integrated approach designed to generalize therapeutic insights to clients’ everyday lives. This dedication to bridging clinical care and real-world application is what makes us unique.

Camden Case Management provides an extensive range of services within a single organization. Every client, regardless of the specific services they choose, has the support of a multidisciplinary team of at least five dedicated professionals, two of whom are Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs). This often unnoticed yet persistently present team includes experts with years of specialized training and advanced degrees, ensuring that each client benefits from a depth of expertise and insight that is hard to find elsewhere.

Our commitment to excellence extends to our employees. Every member of our staff receives a weekly case review to ensure they’re fully supported and equipped to handle the complex needs of our clientele. Outside clinicians for additional expertise, providing our team with advances in the latest research and interventions in psychology and mental health care. An emphasis on continuing education ensures our staff is prepared to provide the highest standard of service, readily adapting to the latest clinical developments.

Our case managers, mentors, and coaches undergo a rigorous Camden Case Management Certified Training Program. This in-depth training provides them with a deep understanding of psychological concepts, mental health conditions, addiction recovery, and medical complexities, along with effective support strategies. Armed with this expertise, they provide clients with empathy, professionalism, and strategic guidance.

Unlike other case management companies, we operate on a week-by-week basis with no long-term contracts. This flexibility allows clients the freedom to adjust their services after one week if they determine a different approach would be more effective, while still benefiting from the security of consistent, high-quality care. We believe this adaptable, contract-free approach fosters trust and ensures that each client has a plan tailored to their evolving needs.

We work closely with each client’s clinical and medical teams, providing frequent updates and collaborating to ensure that therapeutic goals are consistently implemented in the client’s daily life. This enhanced communication promotes the generalization of clinical progress, aiding clients in extending their achievements in therapy to other areas of their life for meaningful, practical results.

Additionally, we offer a Family Support Group to keep loved ones informed, engaged, and empowered. This group provides families with the resources and guidance they need to foster an effective environment for supporting the progress of their loved one.
